I would like to use perl on one netware server to email a document, using
my groupwsie server as the smtp server.

I can get sendmail to wokrk just fine, however if I send something to
outside my groupwise corporate address book it is blocked due to anti-mail
relaying features.

Is there a way to authenticate to the groupwise server as a groupwise user
to send this mail?

Thanks.

If the server that's trying to relay has a hostname in the DNS, you can
make a relay exception in GW, something like
'perlserver' *
That will allow the server to send to everything.

I don't know if there's still a bug with using IP's, so use hostnames
instead.
