Hello everyone,
I have been testing a Password-Expiration & Grace-Remaining Email
Notification perl script on a NW6.5 SP3 server with eDirectory 8.7.3.5.
Here's the link to this tool:
http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/15268.html
Here's my problem: our server must have "Require TLS for simple binds with
password" enabled. When this is enabled, the script fails to run. Here's the
error message: Confidentiality required at password.pl line 83, <DATA> line
283.
Reading through previous threads, I get the impression that it's very
difficult to set up LDAPS in perl on a NetWare server. If that's the case,
is there any way I can keep the "Require TLS for simple binds with password"
enabled and still run the perl script using LDAP (especially since this perl
script runs from the NetWare server and never goes across the wire)?
Thanks!
Paul
