Porting NW Perl to Linux Perl

I have a Perl script that uses the _ADMIN volume and the NSS Event
File List to check for file changes. It runs on NW 6.5sp4.

Now, the costumer want's to change the server platform from NetWare
6.5 to Linux OES.

Will I be able to directly port my Perl script? Can I still use the
Event File List on NSS under Linux?

It would be better to ask this on the VFS forum since the _ADMIN volume
is independent of Perl and your question relates only to the
functionality of the _ADMIN volume.
